Gluten Free Turtle Cookies

Some years you just need a break from baking, too many little kids pawing at you, too busy, too tired....the list goes on.  One year when I was just too busy with little ones and homeschooling and laundry......and life, all I made was caramel corn.  It was such a load off to know that Christmas still came and went even if I didn't make all of mom's special cookies.

A very tasty and easy cookie are these Gluten Free Turtle Cookies. Not my original idea for sure but these are quick, easy and quite delicious and the kids can help without much mess.

Enjoy the time with family this year.  Take the guilt of a perfect Christmas off of yourself!  There is no pressure. Do what you have time or energy for.  If you don't have any energy, buy some pre-made cookies and display them on a beautiful plate.  No one will know the difference or care.

Gluten Free Turtle Cookies

1 bag Snyder Gluten Free Pretzels (or any gf brand)
1 bag Rolo's
Pecans
M &M's

Lay pretzels side to side on a baking sheet, not overlapping.  Add a Rolo on top of each pretzel.  Bake in 350 oven for 3 min or until Rolo is soft.

 Remove from oven and press a pecan or M & M on top. Let cool and store in a sealed container away from heat.
